HYATT house Dallas/Lincoln Park

We rented three rooms. One was very good, one had most of the issues, and the third was OK. The rooms were large and comfortable, with kitchenettes, a large pullout couch, and a king-size bed. The pool is in the center courtyard, things were neat and clean, the people were great, and breakfast was pretty good. In the room with most of the problems, the window was bent, stuck open, and wouldn’t close, so it was noisy. The microwave didn’t work and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. These were fairly minor opportunities for improvement, but things need fixing. The hotel bar has very limited hours and closes at 9:00, and the artwork in the rooms just doesn’t fit. Overall, it was a good stay.

The staff were good, the rooms were clean and serviced daily, breakfast was fine, and the location was great. Water pressure in both the shower and sink was also very good. Even so, the hotel’s worn and dated condition made for a disappointing stay. We had a king suite and a king ADA room just after Christmas in 2025, and it looked as if Hyatt had put almost no money into upkeep. The ADA room’s entry door stuck so badly that my mother nearly fell. The suite was a nice space but beat up: bathroom floor and shower grout was missing and stained, the toilet didn’t flush consistently, and the shower door trim was falling apart. The doors were hard to slide, and past repairs seemed to amount to adding more caulk in several places. My wife is confident, though she can’t prove it, that someone went through her belongings. Her makeup bag had been moved and zipped shut when she hadn’t left it that way, and some jewelry hidden behind other things was in a different place inside the bag. The lack of maintenance and ongoing improvements Hyatt hasn’t kept up with was the main reason for our disappointment. I can’t recommend Hyatt House Lincoln Park in its current condition, and we’ll look for somewhere else on future visits.

We felt right at home at this Hyatt House, maybe even better! Mr. Alban helped us at the front desk at 1 am in the best way possible. He’s definitely a gentleman. The next morning, Ms. Maria and her coworker were so kind and supportive to us and our four-legged baby 🐶. It was an amazing stay, and we’ll definitely come back soon. Thanks so much, guys! I paid for five days and will never stay here again. After I checked in, I was charged an extra 869.35. The front desk agents were incompetent, and the manager showed no empathy. Nobody took responsibility or owned the mistake. Instead, the manager made it seem like it was my fault. I didn’t get my money back quickly because I paid with Venmo and booked through Priceline, and they blamed everyone else: me, Priceline, and Venmo. The young woman hadn’t asked questions or double-checked the balance, but no one took accountability. The manager told me, “if i had paid with a real bank I would get my mo hey back in 24 hours but since I used venmo she doesn't know”.
