Sonesta Suites Dallas Park Central

The best part was the entrance, with its waterfall, and the glass elevator you can see through. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, too. The suites felt like they might have been lovely once, but the furniture is dated, and housekeeping could be better. Our room had a stale, musty odor when we walked in. There was also a thick white film on the windows, so we changed rooms because we could barely see outside.

The layout is what makes this place so fascinating. Elevators run through the central column up ten floors, and three bridge-like walkways spread out in a triangle to the rooms. You can look across the whole interior and see the different paths and rooms. It really is an architectural masterpiece, with an indoor-outdoor pool as well. The location is great, close to restaurants and shopping, and breakfast was phenomenal. Ask for Amber. The front desk ladies were very helpful, and the customer service was awesome. There was a wedding party taking pictures while my photographer and I were there, which says a lot about how beautiful the place is. I absolutely recommend it.

We had a really nice room, spotless too. I've stayed at fancier hotels that weren't nearly as clean, and I was very pleased with how clean everything was. It had a living area and a fold-out couch, which could work well for a family. My husband and I were there for our honeymoon, and the service was fantastic. The beds did seem to hold onto heat, though, so next time I'll bring a fan 😂😂. We ordered delivery because the food there was so expensive, and breakfast cost an extra $14 per person per day. Still, I'd definitely come back.

The room was huge, and the whole place felt clean, fresh, and modern. We loved the restaurant and bar, and the staff were really nice. The open interior goes all the way up to the roof, with glass elevators, balconies, and walkways to the rooms. It's such a cool design. This was the prettiest and nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. Wish we could've stayed longer. I'd absolutely recommend it and come back!
