I’ve stayed here for a few months before and have returned since. I liked the service, though the vending machines can get a little wonky. My friend recently stayed too and really appreciated Rita’s help. She gave him a wait time, was punctual, and quickly brought replacement sheets when he realized some were missing, even while handling phone calls. He also said the cleaning crew was among the nicest he’d met in a long time. I like the guy ran as well, he’s laid back and knows the area, the staff, and how things work.

We’ve been here almost 10 years, and the place has gone from bad to good to great, then downhill again. We’re still here because we don’t have another choice right now, and anything is better than being homeless. But there have been roaches for months since the manager apparently chose not to bomb or spray this year, and the front desk service can be rude. Not everyone is bad, but Raj in particular can be very rude. If you’re considering staying, I’d only suggest a short stay if you have to, until they deal with the pests and the service. It wasn’t like this before. I gave three stars because they can be understanding at times, but then they use that kindness against you and rub it in your face. Their words and behavior make it obvious that money is all they care about.

The room was clean and the staff were nice, but the bed was unbelievably hard. I’ve slept on floors that were softer.

I reserved a room for seven days, never stayed there, and still couldn’t get a refund. I’m a single mother of three, and keeping my money feels both inhuman and like theft.
