Hampton Inn Dalton

Really nice rooms, plenty of pillows, and the bedding was amazing. I loved the comforter. Breakfast was good too: sausage, premade omelet, potatoes with bell peppers, and pumpkin or vanilla waffle batter. They ran out of regular syrup, so we had to use sugar-free, and the juice machine wasn't working. Still a great stay.

The breakfast worker was very nice and helpful, but the girl at the front desk had the personality of a rock. She was probably tired of working in such a terrible environment. We should never have stayed the night. The room was old and filthy. I often stay at Hampton Inn's because they're usually clean, comfortable, and nice, but this one was awful. I wish I'd read the reviews before booking.

Handy location just off I-75 for tired travelers. It's an older hotel, but they've taken steps to modernize it. The bathroom was great, with a new “comfort height” toilet and a refreshing shower. There were lots of electrical outlets and USB ports. A fridge and microwave were in the room, and ice and vending were nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

This is by FAR the worst Hilton property in their portfolio. I travel and stay in hotels more than I stay at home, and I often choose Hampton because it's reliable and consistent. This location was the first time that wasn't true. It's gross, so GROSS. Sticky carpet, mold, hair from previous guests everywhere, and everything else seemed wrong too. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here. Here's a fun fact: Hilton always asks me to review my stays, but this property's request seemed to get lost this time.
