That big front porch became our favorite spot. We met some great people there and ended up spending our last night hanging out together. Kathleen and Drew made us feel at home right away, and were so gracious about our vegetarian diet. Kathleen's Mapo Tofu at breakfast took me straight back to NYC China town, and Drew's French toast had us asking what was in the sauce. The house and rooms are lovely, and our Trail Days stay was amazing. Can't wait to go back next year.

We all had such a memorable time at the inn while bringing our teenage boys to ride the creeper trail. Kathleen was a terrific, accommodating hostess. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful for both mornings, with plenty of coffee before, during, and after. She even checked what we'd like after the first course, which surprised us. The room was great, and I'd recommend this B&B to anyone staying in town or just passing through.

The Mountain Laurel Inn has lovely old woodwork and antiques, and a lot of history. Kathleen was warm and accommodating, and her cooking was a highlight. The food was healthy and delicious, especially the homemade waffles, the best I've ever had. She even grows her own herbs. We'd highly recommend a visit for the charm.

Kathleen treated us with so much kindness and respect, and everything we needed was in the comfortable spaces. My wife and I had a great stay at the Mountain Laurel Inn, and the food was absolutely delicious. We'll stay again on our next trip to Southwest Virginia.

The host gave us a tour and shared family stories, which added a lot to our stay in this beautiful old home filled with interesting things and memories. We arrived late after getting lost, and she let us in and offered some delicious leftover food. Breakfast was amazing too, eggs, bacon, and homemade waffles. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
