The beach is right across the street, and there weren't any crowds. We had a clean, spacious one bedroom unit, with a comfortable couch for my buddy. We both slept great. I had a quick weekend in So Cal, arriving in San Diego and then spending two days outside LA. Surfside was an easy night drive up from San Diego, and thankfully they let me check in at 2am. We spent the weekend driving between Orange, Pomona, and Surfside, outside the worst LA traffic zones, so the trips were fairly painless. If you want to be by the beach while visiting places around LA, without staying in LA or paying LA prices, Surfside Inn could work well.

The spa wasn't available, and the website hadn't said so. I would have booked somewhere else if I'd known. When I brought it up, the man at the desk wasn't apologetic. He first asked where I'd booked, and when I said hotels.com, he told me they couldn't help me. That felt like a cold corporate attitude. Take responsibility and at least make an effort. I won't book here again.

Right across the street from the beach, and they lend out boogie boards, sand toys, and beach chairs. After long days at the beach, the pool and hot tub were a lot of fun. Everything was super clean and the staff were friendly. This place is awesome. We'll definitely be back!

Ms. Guadalupe was so sweet and courteous. She helped us set up a pool game and told us about the amenities at this beautiful Capistrano Surfside Inn. Mr Sergio welcomed me and my daughter warmly and offered lots of helpful suggestions. Fantastic service from both of them. Highly recommend the place, and God bless!

The staff were fantastic, the highlight of our four days. Our accommodations were spacious and clean, and the pool and hot tub were both spotless and well cared for.
