Good value for a quiet, comfortable stay. It's an older hotel, but clean. Breakfast is light, though Waffle House is right next door. You can get a slightly better rate on hotels.com than by walking up. Just know there's no elevator to the second floor.

The staff didn't make a report or seem concerned when I told them my son had fallen. He got a contusion under his arm after falling into the bathtub, and I took him to the hospital for care. We had planned a weekend staycation near home so my special-needs son could swim, but the fall meant he couldn't use the pool. At first they put us in an old-looking room without air conditioning and with worn furniture. The next room was only slightly better, and the bath towel was too small. Breakfast was just cereal, nothing else. While we waited outside for our ride home, a man I assume was one of the owners came out and went through our things. My son told him they were ours, but he ignored him and kept searching as if we were stealing. The price was almost doubled for the weekend. The first quote was for a weekday, then the clerk noticed the mistake and reprocessed it. This wasn't a nice or even adequate hotel. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The woman at the front desk was kind and understanding about the issues my fiance and I had. We checked out after only about five minutes. As soon as we entered the room, we saw roaches all over, on the carpet and walls, and in the fridge and drawers.

I stepped into the room, took photos, and walked straight back out. Even that brief time in the building left me with a terrible headache from the cigarette smell.
