Red Carpet Inn Airport and Cruise Port Hotel Fort Lauderdale

We stayed one night before our vacation and another afterward. The staff were great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Getting to the airport on the shuttle was easy, and the driver even made sure I found the bus stop after dropping me off. With the weather cancellations causing chaos during our stay, I saw the front desk staff go out of their way to help people. I’d definitely recommend it.

We wanted an affordable room with a ride from the airport and to the cruise port, and this place fit what we needed. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the staff picked us up quickly and let us into a cool, clean room at 10:30 am, even though check-in was supposed to be at 3. The front desk, housekeeping, and gift shop staff were all helpful and gave us really friendly service. I’d absolutely stay here again. That kind of customer service feels rare these days.

The free airport shuttle and rides to two decent restaurants were useful, and the coffee in the lobby was very good. The beds were comfortable too, though having an extra blanket would have helped. There’s no coffee in the rooms, which was disappointing. During the renovations and upgrades, the pool is closed until May 28. The people at check-in were extremely nice; the morning staff at checkout were okay, but could have been more gracious. Our bathroom door didn’t close properly. We had to leave it partly open or slam it hard enough to wake people.

The room was a pleasant surprise, nice and renovated. The shuttle driver and the front desk staff were good. The Jamaican woman on the 7am-3p shift was kind and gave clear directions for catching the shuttle. Mr. Shoran at the front desk was especially nice, with great energy and a great smile. He’s a great ambassador for the desk. Thank you.
