We booked a night out with the kids specifically to use the pool, but it was closed for renovations and the website never mentioned it. The guy at the front desk seemed completely checked out and didn't appear to care. In the room, there was a hole in the wall and a sizable crack in the tub with a really poor patch job. The bed and pillows were very worn. The hotel looks awesome from outside and the location was ideal, which made the disappointment worse. We won't stay again or recommend it.

The woman at check-in was wonderful, and the man's service was appreciated too. The room, though, had dirty towels, a broken microwave and phone, and the carpet and corners, especially in the bathroom, hadn't been cleaned. They also unlocked my room to try to do maintenance, which I didn't appreciate.

I've read some of the negative reviews, but I don't really understand them. This isn't a luxury five-star resort, and the price reflects that. For a fair rate, it's a reliable place to stay in Davenport. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and ready to help. If you want a friendly, clean, quiet hotel, this is a good choice.

The outside looked better than the outdated interior, and it was hard to find with very little parking. We found what turned out to be cockroaches in the beds, black curly hairs that don't match anyone in my family, and a terrible smell in the room. The water was very dirty, the tub was cracked, and there were holes in the wall. The pool was closed, and there were people just staring into nothing. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I expected more, but the hallways and room both smelled musty. There was mold on the towels, and I don't think the sheets had been changed after the previous guest.
