For the price, it was a decent place to stay. The room was plain but clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a night, and check-in went smoothly with polite staff. If all you need is somewhere affordable to sleep, it does the job.

I knew the low price probably meant nothing fancy, but I still expected a clean room, and this was nowhere close. We had our toddler with us, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The mirrors, walls, bathroom, and even a random chair were filthy. The drawers had no knobs, and there were command strips stuck to the walls and mirrors. Long hairs hung from the disgusting shower curtain, which didn’t even have a liner. I regret not checking the reviews first, that part’s on me. But thinking this is acceptable for a motel is on them.

I called and was quoted $50 a night with no deposit, but after looking at three rooms, I wouldn’t have stayed in any of them for free. Every room smelled like poop and pee, as if there were septic problems, and all three had roaches. There weren’t proper beds, just thick mats, and one room had a strange metal cot-like frame. None of the rooms had a microwave or fridge. The showers were stand-up only, with mildew or mold, and no bathtubs. The sign said the rooms were renovated, but the only thing that seemed renovated was the sign. I called the city inspector about the place. It needs to be shut down. I’d give zero stars if I could. Don’t waste time stopping to look at the rooms.

The refrigerator in the room I was moved to upstairs didn’t work. I let the front desk know and didn’t bother pursuing it further. Management only addressed my water leak after I posted this review, and their fix was to move me into a room with another problem. If you’re running a business serving people, treat them the way you’d want to be treated. Before checking out, I reported the bathroom leak twice. Water was running from the toilet area all the way to the vanity, but staff showed no interest and offered no solution. The front desk also wouldn’t give me extra towels to mop it up. UPDATE: Management saw the review and sent maintenance right away. The worker said I needed to change rooms. That’s how I ended up upstairs. I find it ironic that nobody acted on the leak until I shared it publicly.
