The pool and hot tub were a lovely way to unwind, and we could get towels right at the front desk. Later, after BK left ketchup off my nuggets, someone kindly helped us get some from the breakfast room. We just missed breakfast the next morning, but the attendant still brought us plates with fruit and yogurt and offered us a cinnamon roll cake. Our room was spacious and very clean, and I appreciated the binder of useful information and restaurant suggestions. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on. I usually get only 4-6 hours, but here I got a much-needed 9.5. Everyone was so kind and helpful. A wonderful stop on our way home.

The room was clean and perfectly adequate for one night, and I really appreciated the accessible bathroom. It had a large walk-in shower and plenty of grab bars. The bed was the problem. It felt old, with deep indentations, and was the most uncomfortable one I've ever slept in. My husband and I tossed and turned all night, and I woke up with a bad back. 😔

The employees were so nice and quick to help, and the service was great. Still, the place felt a bit dirty. The bathroom looked somewhat unclean, the sheets weren't very comfortable, and I saw a few dirty bandages in the swimming area. The hot tub water also had a dark grey tint for some reason. I might stay again, but if you're looking online, I'd keep looking.

The hotel kept our $100 security deposit after my nephew's birthday stay. They said a couple of kids who weren't staying overnight had used pool towels, even though there weren't any towels in the pool area. Then they were rude and kept trying to charge more money to our credit card for three days afterward. This was the worst customer service I've ever had. It felt like a scam, with any excuse being used to keep the deposit.

A roach by the mini fridge was the point where we packed up and left. We told the front desk we were checking out, and later the agent claimed I'd “threw the card at her,” which wasn't true. My wife called from the car to ask about a refund. The agent said she'd “find the roach in the room” and refund us, but today I see a charge on my account and they're disputing everything about our visit. We'd come Friday night so our daughter could swim and spend a night in a hotel for her birthday. The front desk agent greeted us with no enthusiasm and seemed not to care. The place looked outdated and poorly maintained. The beds seemed more like fulls than the two queens listed on the website. The pool area smelled strongly of mildew and looked only half-cleaned. My skin felt weird as soon as I got out. We asked about a bigger room, but the price offered wasn't worth it. Save your money and stay somewhere else. This place isn't worth the headache.
