The family who runs and manages The Davenport’s motel are so kind, and the customer service was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was just right for a good night’s sleep. We’ll definitely come back. ❤️

The family’s kindness meant more to me than they know. They’re so sweet, considerate, and generous, and make sure you’ve got everything you need and then some. The beds are really comfortable too. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. ❤️

Check-in was easy and hassle-free, and the owners were friendly and happy to help. It’s a clean, quiet, small hotel with a soft, comfortable bed and basic things like a microwave, mini fridge, hotel coffee maker, and wifi. There’s no USB outlet or “continental” breakfast, so plan for that. It’s simple, but the small-town hospitality makes up for what it lacks in grandeur.

I had a great experience despite my truck trouble. After I broke down on hwy 2, the owners were friendly and pleasant, and let me stay out of the heat while I waited each day to find out if my truck was fixed. That saved me from having to look for somewhere shady to sit. I can’t rate them highly enough. Thanks again. I’ll be back, if only to stop by, say hello, and thank you.
