The suite was roomy and clean, with a comfortable king bed, a huge bathroom with a glass shower, and a handy kitchenette. We were near the elevator but never heard it, and the balcony had a partial beach view. Someone nearby was smoking something that definitely wasn't a cigarette, and the odor was so strong we had to shut the sliding door and go inside. Check-in and checkout were both easy. We didn't use the bar or pool, but ate a delicious dinner at Millies across the street. The beach was right out the back, and we also drove along the strip and went putt-putt golfing. We had a wonderful weekend.

The location right on the ocean is great, and the rooms are spacious. Two men at the front desk were friendly, and Donna, I think, the bartender and server, was very accommodating. But although this is called a dog-friendly hotel, dogs are only allowed in rooms, not common areas, and you can't get food or a drink with an animal, even a service animal. Most staff need training on ADA-compliant service dogs. The pet relief area was full of other dogs' feces that owners hadn't picked up. The hotel needs maintenance and better employee training. If you want a pet-friendly place, Hard Rock hotel is just minutes away.

We came during a quiet stretch just after the Christmas holidays. The exterior could use some sprucing up, but inside looks much newer, and our room was just right, with plenty of space, nice updates, and a good-sized kitchen. The shower pressure was A++, and you can walk down to the beautiful sandy beach. Locally, you can pay $33 to drive your vehicle along 5-6 miles of beach. Breakfast was well arranged and clearly labeled, and better than the usual included hotel breakfast.

Paul and Beth at the front desk were amazing, taking time to make sure I had what I needed even when they were busy. Donna the bartender was funny and gave great service, and my housekeeper, whose name I can't remember, was very efficient. I just got home from a wonderful weekend at your hotel. I plan to come back and would definitely recommend it.
