Super Inn

I booked a room for the Daytona 500, showed up, and couldn’t pay because their credit card machine was down. The owner wanted cash, which I didn’t have, but they showed me the room anyway. It was absolutely disgusting, looked like it was under construction, and wasn’t fit to stay in. I chose not to stay, then they charged me a $140 no-show fee even though I had absolutely shown up. Don’t waste your time reserving here. I rate it zero.

I will never stay at Super Inn again. If you care about your safety, belongings, or pets, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else. I rented a room for two nights because it was advertised as pet-friendly. I left for less than an hour to return a U-Haul. When I came back, the motel room door was wide open and my dog was gone. I ran to the office and told the woman owner. Instead of helping, she accused my dog of barking all morning before 7:00 a.m. That isn’t true. I didn’t get up until after 7:00 and left at 5 minutes to 8:00 a.m. I also have a Lyft receipt showing I got back at 8:48 a.m. I called the police because of how serious this was. An officer reviewed the security footage, and management said no one was seen approaching or opening my door. Still, the door was open when I returned and my dog was gone. It’s disturbing and unexplained. Someone clearly got into my room or opened the door while I was gone and let my dog out onto a busy main road. That was reckless, dangerous, and completely unacceptable. I left my luggage in the parking lot while I searched for my dog. Management showed a shocking lack of concern and responsibility.

It’s calm, clean, and peaceful here, and the staff are very friendly. Prices are reasonable, too. One of the best places I can recommend in Daytona, and the first place I think of whenever I visit.

I booked a room in early Dec, but left without staying after seeing how dirty it was. The smell was awful, like it hadn’t been cleaned, and the sheets looked dingy. I couldn’t stomach it and went straight to the front desk. They said they’d issue a refund, but I’m still trying to get it sorted out. They refused to refund me even though I never stayed. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.
