The “continental breakfast” was just bad coffee and a waffle maker, and the train passing nearby was loud enough to hear. On day two, they’d only replaced the bathroom towel, and the floor still hadn’t been swept. The place was disgusting, with a sticky floor and dirty bedding. We asked the two people at the front desk to change the sheets, but they said there was no housekeeping crew and they weren’t trained to make beds. They did change them, but we went to the nearest store and bought our own sheet set. You deserve better. Go somewhere else!

The people were nice, but this was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend the place until it gets a proper deep cleaning. The TV remote was broken, so I couldn’t use it or change channels. The toilet and sinks were dirty, the floors felt sticky, and the room smelled very dirty. The bedding was disgusting too, with spots all over the duvet cover and smelly pillows. The housekeepers need to learn how to clean.

The new management seems great, and the location was excellent for my event. Still, getting ready in the morning was difficult because the sink had very low water pressure. The carpet was very dirty, one face towel was already dirty, and there was an ironing board but no iron in the room. A loud bar right next door also made it hard to sleep at night.

At checkout, the front desk manager was rude, didn’t apologize, and made no adjustment to the charges. Earlier, the receptionist sent a cleaning person promptly to help, but we were still discouraged. The whole facility needed cleaning. They were starting renovations, but that’s no excuse: there was soap scum in the bathroom, hair in the sink, dirty tabletops, and worn bedding and furniture. Yuck!
