Deadwood was much less interesting than I expected, and felt not quite worth visiting unless you're after casinos and bars. The hotel itself was small, but the room was large and clean. We booked in the off season at a very inexpensive rate. My only real issue in the room was the bathroom sink, which drained poorly. Parking is a familiar problem at Sheraton properties: the lot was small, but $19.95 a day seemed fair to me. There's also a tiny lot across the street with outdoor parking for $15 a day.

Parking in this city is awful, so good luck finding a spot close by. The hotel's garage holds maybe 40 cars at best. Other than that, it's a nice Marriott hotel with good service, included breakfast, and walking distance to everything. Loved Deadwood!

Tara went above and beyond for us, and made the hotel experience amazing. She'd be the reason we'd come back, and I hope her manager notices. I wasn't impressed that the hotel has no pool or hot tub.

It was snowing, so they lit the fire pit for us. Everyone was very friendly, and the place was affordable. The Saturday night bartender was absolutely incredible, with the best drinks I've ever had. We'll be back!

The room was super clean, really nice, and had high vaulted ceilings. Best part, it was pet friendly. Tin Lizzie is connected downstairs, so be sure to get one of their alcohol-infused ice creams from the bar.
