The parking lot next to the hotel made coming and going easy, and the rooms were comfortable. The building is older, but it's been nicely updated and is well maintained. The beach is right in front, with excellent restaurants nearby. Hotel staff set up a shade umbrella for guests and provide beach towels and lounge chairs.

After two seasons of staying here, we've always had a pleasant time, and we plan to return every year. We've tried other hotels in Boynton Beach, Delray, and Boca, but this has been our best stay by far. During our eight-day vacation, Ralph and Ender stood out for their hospitality, care, and professionalism. Thank you to them and the whole team. Janet Doherty/ Robert and Donna Barisciano

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, though the bathroom counter is a bit small. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. I lowered my rating after breakfast this morning. We waited around 15 minutes to be seated, then the staff ignored my wife and me, so we left to eat somewhere else. It seemed like they didn't want to do their jobs.

Update: Management reached out and spoke with me personally about what happened. I appreciate their professionalism and offer to make things right. I'll update this again after the follow-up stay. I'm formally reporting a serious safety incident involving valet staff during my stay over the holiday season last year. I was told management would follow up and address it, so I allowed time for an internal review. No one contacted me or resolved the matter, and I'm documenting it now, as of February 8. On the evening of December 6-7, I pulled up to ask about parking. The valet attendant asked whether I wanted valet or self-parking, and I clearly chose self-park. They told me to go inside for a parking pass. I asked specifically if I could leave my vehicle where it was while I got one, and was told, “absolutely no problem.” So I left the car running with my daughter, Julie, inside while I went to check in. About five minutes later, Julie ran inside barefoot and visibly upset, saying, “That was crazy.” Then an unidentified person in a T-shirt and shorts came up aggressively, demanded my keys, and tried to take them from my hand while yelling that I was “holding up the line.” He didn't clearly identify himself as staff, and I had not authorized valet service. I said I'd move the car myself, but he tried again to take my keys and followed me outside. Only afterward did I learn that he'd opened the car door, sat in the driver's seat, and tried to move the vehicle while my child was still inside. Julie was frightened, got out without her shoes, and ran in to find me. By the time we reached our room she was trembling, and she still had no shoes because she'd fled so quickly. That evening, I spoke to the shift manager after being on hold for about 15 minutes. I was assured the Valet Director and Hotel Director would call around 9:00 AM the next morning. No one ever called. I received no written incident report, apology, explanation, or information about corrective action, even though I expected the matter to be handled promptly. This involved unauthorized entry into an occupied vehicle, an attempted move with a minor inside, aggressive conduct toward a guest, staff who weren't properly identified, contradictory directions from valet personnel, and management failing to follow up after promising contact. I waited in good faith for the promised response and resolution. Since neither came, I'm requesting direct contact from hotel management, a written incident report or any internal findings, an explanation of how this was allowed to happen, details of corrective or preventative steps taken since, and appropriate compensation or goodwill consideration for the distress and safety risk. This involved a minor's safety and unauthorized interference with my vehicle. I'm formally documenting it now because no one followed through after making assurances, and I respectfully request timely acknowledgment and resolution.

The check-in was set for 4:00pm, but we didn't get our room until 5:00pm, and it was still being cleaned when we arrived upstairs. The check-in process was horrible. Sophi and the manager seemed scared to help me, then the shift changed and they disappeared. They offered late checkout because we checked in late, which is totally counterproductive. It would only make the next guest's check-in harder and delay them. Frankly, the whole idea is stupid. The room was a big disappointment. The AC felt hot and was blowing hot air. The balcony was maybe a foot wide, more like an open window than a balcony. The TV was grainy and old, and I've never felt thinner bed sheets. The chairs and beach were nice, but the service out there was a hot mess. The server was snappy with guests, and people who ordered never got their food. I heard it all and it was laughable. The front desk clerks seemed miserable, weren't kind or welcoming at all, and looked like they were tired of being hit with complaints and didn't care anymore. The elevators were tiny, slow, and barely worked. For the price, I wouldn't stay here again. Go a little farther south and find a Marriott or Hilton. I can hardly call this place a resort.
