I can't recommend this place because of the owners. One woman in particular was unbearable to deal with. She followed customers around all night and, in my experience, tried to provoke me so she could call the police. She did that to my boyfriend and me once, and the police argued on our behalf, which made her even angrier. We stayed the rest of that day and night out of spite, even though we wanted to leave. This has happened on several occasions over about six years. The rooms are older, and I've encountered cockroaches and bed bugs. I'm not exaggerating. The location is good for touring the area, but beware.

The room was badly overpriced for what was offered, and they took only $10 off because the TV didn't work. It looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in ages, the sheets were dirty, and there was no heat. The bathroom toilet and shower had rust and mold, and some lights didn't work. Horrible. I'd take my money elsewhere.

When every other hotel was full, this place answered my call and was ready to take my money. The rooms have an old 80s feel, with cracked walls and a classic-looking restroom. There was no heater, but they gave me an electric one. The TV had the one channel that mattered to me, channel 53. Still, I can't see why the place would never get updated or renovated.

The front desk guy was cool, and my room was clean. No roaches in there, so I wasn't mad. It was quiet, there were palm trees outside the door, and I didn't see any cops. For a cheap place, it was like being in Mexico for real. You get what you pay for. If I wanted a shack, I'd call the motel by Dolla General.

The bathroom didn't have a door, and I killed a cockroach in the shower. We had to wait a couple of hours for the hot water to be turned on, and there was no Wi-Fi. Still, it was the cheapest place we could find.
