I rented two rooms and requested they be next to each other, but that didn't happen. They also tried to charge me more than the price Expedia showed. The rooms have been upgraded since my 2019 stay, but ours wasn't clean. There was pubic hair by the toilet and hair stuck in the tub as if it had been there a while. The lamps by our bed were dusty, and one bed had dirt on it, like the sheets hadn't been changed. When I needed towels, the office was closed for quite a while. I called and was told they'd be out for a while. Same owner as champions inn towards the lake. Never staying here again.

My stay has been uncomfortable and unprofessional. My mail went missing or appeared tampered with, and the new cash card was hacked before I opened it. The AC still doesn't work, and I believe my phone was hacked and monitored. Given the poor ratings, nothing seems to have improved. They arranged for me to move to a cheaper motel, but the prices went up for some reason, coincidentally when my phones were hacked and monitored. I've dealt with the broken room and lack of service, and even had to lock my bank card to stop unknown charges. They offered no discount for the inconvenience. I don't cause problems, and I pay even though the room isn't worth it. I understand they urgently want to remove me because of personal issues, but I'm the one losing out. With the cheaper motel no longer available, my options for leaving have shrunk. I fear for my safety and what little I have.
After staying more than two months, it started to feel like a second home. The rates are flexible, and the new owner Mario is working hard to turn the place around. It's basic, but it's aiming to feel more modern, and that takes time and money. The hotel is peaceful and practical, with no strange vibes. It's easy to get on and off the main strip, and staff don't come banging at your door. You request services when you need them, which I like. It's a homey, old-timey kind of place, and I love that they still use metal keys instead of electronic cards that are easy to deactivate. Despite mixed reviews about cleanliness, I found it pretty clean for how long it's been here.
The woman at the front desk was friendly and nice, and the location was great. I stayed a couple of nights in a clean room with a small fridge. It was a good experience, and I'll definitely stay here again.
The air conditioning worked well, and I appreciated having a mini-microwave and refrigerator in the room. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the room felt fresh and nicely appointed. I also liked the bathroom setup, especially the well-lit sink and vanity. Anna and Mario, the innkeepers, have made real progress updating the facilities and trying to provide the best stay possible at an affordable price, despite the mixed reviews from the past. I was impressed with the convenience and amenities at the Del Rio Inn for the reasonable rate. I'll happily stay here again. A++!
