Delavan Lake Resort

Todd at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed everything about our visit and didn’t have a single complaint. This place is awesome, and I can’t wait to come back. I’d definitely recommend it :)

What a waste of our time. I tried to book through Airbnb, but they let the confirmation timer run out without accepting or denying the reservation. I had to call to find out what was happening. The receptionist said that unit wasn’t available, but claimed another one on Airbnb was available for the same price. When I asked her to book it, she said I had to do that through Airbnb, but couldn’t send me a link. I searched Airbnb and couldn’t find the unit she meant. She said their calendars were messed up and offered no solution. Why list places on Airbnb if we can’t book directly with them?

There’s a small game room for kids, plus an indoor pool and hot tub that were reasonably clean. The rooms were clean too. The fitness area is small. Nice overall.

The room had a couple of issues that kept this from being a five, even though I really liked the place. The outdoor AC unit was loud, and the mattresses were very firm and uncomfortable. You could kind of feel the springs, so they’re probably due for an upgrade. The bathtub also had a crack, and the green epoxy they used to seal it was poorly applied. It literally looked like poop. Still, our two-bedroom suite was beautiful, with a little patio overlooking the lake. We used the hot tub and outdoor pool, and both were very nice.
