My sister arranged this as an anniversary night for my husband and me. We waited a while for someone to come to the desk, and when the employee finally showed up, she just asked what she could do for us without greeting us. After I explained we had a reservation, she was rude and gave us attitude, then demanded both our IDs and credit cards. It was an awful experience, and I won't come back. The young woman was dressed unprofessionally, too.

We felt comfortable and welcome as a visibly queer group that included trans people. The room was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly. Our double queen room had two sinks, one in the bathroom and another outside it, which helped the three of us get ready. I don't know if all rooms are laid out that way or only the front building, so ask if it matters to you. The bed was the best part: fluffy, spotless white bedding and good pillows, and I woke up rested. We only expected a simple stay, so the wrapped pastries in the lobby were a nice grab-and-go breakfast. We had no pets with us, but saw that pets are allowed. It was affordable and good value for what we needed.

I paid for the deluxe room and loved it. The two sinks were separated by a door, so one person could use the bathroom while someone else washed up. The ceilings were higher than usual, with Amish-like designs on the roof, and the place felt cared for. Staff were warm and welcoming, and there's a delicious Mexican restaurant about a two-minute walk away. The beds are firm by hotel standards, the AC worked fine, and the area seemed fine to me. I've stayed everywhere from $30 a night Airbnbs to $300 resorts, and this motel was the nicest place I've stayed.
