It feels like a home away from home in paradise. My unit had a full kitchen, and I believe most of the others do too, which is great when you’re tired of eating out. There’s also a grill at the pool. The pools and jacuzzi were clean and refreshing, and the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The beach is beautiful, well kept, and just steps away without ever feeling too crowded. The property is well maintained, and the staff are friendly, personable, and accommodating. The area is walkable, with great foodie spots and a super chill nightlife, though sometimes it isn’t so chill.

The main thoroughfare is just a block or two away and has great restaurants and shopping, so you can walk along it. If you go too far, get the Freebee app and tip the driver, who’ll take you back to A1/Ocean Road. To reach the beach, cross A1. You’ll need to rent chairs by the hour or day if you didn’t bring your own, and it’s expensive.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the location is lovely, right across from a well-kept beach with showers and lifeguards. The rooms and furniture are quite dated, but they have everything you need.

The rooms were decent and the location is great, though there was a bit of a musty smell, which seems par for the course near the water in Florida. There aren’t many amenities. Still, a few restaurants are within 0.25 miles, and the heart of Atlantic Avenue is about a mile away. The beach is directly across A1A, with no buildings on the ocean side of that stretch of road.

I believe Berkshire is all timeshare, so you have to own to stay there. I’m glad we were able to stay. The rooms, pools, and green spaces are well kept, and the ocean is just across the street.
