Hampton Inn & Suites Denison

The area was clean and well lit, but the night's sleep was horrible for what this place charges. Breakfast was easily the worst I've had at a 3 star hotel, and I stay in hotels about nine months of the year. This one's off my list. The young guy working the desk tried hard, but he shouldn't have been left alone. I waited 30-45 minutes while he helped the couple ahead of me and took instructions over the phone from someone who probably should have come in. And please don't reply with the usual 'we appreciate the comment and are working on it' line. I doubt anything will change besides trying to get more money out of people.

The front desk said it was an animal friendly hotel when I raised the issue. We love animals, but we don't want to get sick from chemicals or deodorizers. They used a strong deodorizer to cover pet odors, and we were too exhausted to leave late at night, so we tried to make it work. We got no sleep, though, because the smell got worse whenever the AC ran.

We chose the Hampton in Denison again because we've stayed there several times and have always been pleased with the staff. My wife and I needed to be near a family member at the hospital in Denison, Texas, for a few days, and ice and snow arrived while we were there. The staff didn't disappoint this time either. It's a great facility with a great team, and I highly recommend the Hampton Inn in Denison, Texas.

Timothy took care of my lodging needs at check-in, and the staff were both professional and friendly. I stayed here on 11.20.2025 and was impressed by the room: it was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a hot shower. Breakfast had an excellent selection too. Highly recommend this location.
