We didn’t make much use of the Joy House facilities because we spent so much time traveling around the Cape, but every moment we were there was a delight. We stayed for a week some years ago and really enjoyed it. The hosts were friendly, and we liked spending time with them. Our accommodations were spacious and bright, and breakfast was delicious.

Peter and Barbara are wonderful, sweet, witty people, with stories to share for days. There’s also an adorable trio of Beagles who guard the house and love to play. The place itself is private, roomy, spotless, and has some interesting history, so be sure to ask about it. This was my first stay, and I’ve never had a better one. Thanks, and see you all soon!

Breakfast was out of this world, and the location made it easy to walk to the beach or nearby restaurants for dinner. Our room, reached by the Good Morning Staircase, was very clean and comfortable. We drove home talking about when to return. We usually stay at the conference hotel, but for a business conference on the Cape we decided to try a B & B for the first time. From the moment we met Peter and Barbara, they made us feel like family. Thank you both!
