Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Denton-Unt-Twu

I called at the last minute and was first told the hotel was full. After a short hold, the woman on the phone came back saying she'd found a room, which I was really grateful for. The strong reviews had made me hopeful, and the stay lived up to them. My room was excellent, the AC was ice cold, and the staff were great. Breakfast was probably the best I've had in a while. Five stars.

I’ve been here for over a month, and from check-in the owners made me feel at home. They introduced themselves right away, and the whole team seems trained to notice what guests might need before they ask. Breakfast is ready on time every day and has lots of choices. The rooms are roomy and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the lobby and hallways smell amazing. You’re greeted by friendly faces as soon as you walk in. It’s been the best hotel stay I’ve had. This is what hospitality should feel like. As a business owner, I’ll be back and will put up employees and family here.

The hotel was very clean, but it was hard to reach from the freeway because of construction. Check-in was a bit of a pain, since the afternoon guy came off kind of rude. The room was okay, though the refrigerator didn't work. There was one TV, and in the suites they should add one by the couches. Watching from the couch is awkward when the TV is over by the bed.

The pool was top notch, breakfast had lots of choices, and our room was spacious, spotless, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities I wanted. I especially liked the comfortable bed. My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay, with welcoming staff who went out of their way to help from the moment we arrived. The location was close to local attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. Amanda was especially helpful with anything we needed. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to people visiting the area.
