The lobby and the breakfast room we rented for our group were both lovely, and the coffee bar was great. We were 40-plus students and faculty visiting Denver, and the staff made arranging a large group stay feel easy. The rooms were very nice, and the hotel is close to the Denver Art Museum. We had a wonderful time and plan to stay here again on our next Denver visit. I’d recommend it to other large groups too. 😊

My private room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and I had a great stay at 11th Avenue Hostel. The coffee shop downstairs was a nice way to start the morning, too. It’s a friendly place with a lively mix of travelers, and the location is especially handy for going out, with Temple nightclub just steps away. I’d happily come back to 11th Avenue Hostel on another Denver trip.

The art mushroom in the main lobby was a favorite of mine. The hostel itself has a fantastic look and atmosphere, and there are bus routes just around the corner. In Capitol Hill, I could also get to local shops, bookstores, coffee shops, and restaurants. I don’t expect much from hostels, since I understand what the affordable price point means, but Chris at the front desk was kind, patient, and receptive. I had a really nice experience here.

The shared kitchen was a real highlight for me. It had a stove, and the library and lounge were adorable, with lots of books. Downstairs laundry was convenient, and I loved the lobby coffee bar and food. For what we paid, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was our first hostel, so I wasn’t sure about sharing a restroom and shower, but it turned out to be no problem. They were near our room and didn’t feel awkward or unclean. The location was great for walking to food and places like the museum. We’ll be back!

Parking made me anxious because it wasn’t close by, though the hostel had coupons and parking was half off the day I visited. I hadn’t looked closely when booking and didn’t realize the bathrooms were shared, but it wasn’t a major issue since staff kept the place up. It’s such a cute spot with a vintage style. I also loved the ice cream and coffee shop, and they encourage guests to join planned activities like Avengers movie night. The only thing I didn’t like was that the windows in my room seemed blocked by wiring or paper.
