The hot tub was the last straw: I had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to turn it on instead of being able to do it myself like at other hotels. I feel like I should get my money back. The rooms are dated, and the lighting is poor, with no light over the small kitchenette. I paid over $200 with tax, though the place felt worth closer to $100. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The place was very basic, and there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom if you were expecting those. It’s right by the airport, with a great pool and hot tub. There’s only one floor, and it looked like they might be renovating.

The shuttle driver yelled at me and my son for interrupting his break, nearly refused to take us to the airport, then drove like a maniac. At the airport he yelled again to make sure we knew what trouble we’d caused him. The hotel was assigned to us by an airline. The shuttle directions were clear, but the receptionist either didn’t know or chose not to give us the right wait time. We waited 50 minutes outside in 24-degree weather after being told it would be “just 10 minutes.” With accurate information, we could have waited inside. We were initially given a dim, dated third-floor room, but it wasn’t bad. We’d been told we could check out at 2:30. In the morning, a strange man approached us in the hall, asked if we were checking out, and insisted we had to leave without identifying himself. Then the front desk called to say we had to check out right away. I tried to explain the confusion, but they offered only 30 extra minutes. We had nowhere to go and asked if the hotel shuttle could take us to the airport. The staff were abusive, and I wouldn’t choose this place if courtesy and professionalism matter to you.

After a night of trying to stay warm, I overslept and missed breakfast. The room was still too cold for a shower, so I’m skipping that too. I went to the desk to complain and was told nothing could be done because I should have said something the night before. I hadn’t expected staying here would mean sorting through multiple HVAC control boards. I just wanted to get to a room and sleep, and instead I’m left with the bill after a miserable night. I arrived late last night, waited 20-30 minutes in the cold at the airport for the shuttle, and didn’t reach my room until around 1 a.m. I was exhausted and went straight to bed, but the room was freezing. The heater didn’t respond when I tried to turn it up, so I slept in my clothes under blankets. Now I’m unrested, unshowered, hungry, insulted, and have to leave. I stay in Denver hotels constantly. Clearly these two-star economy rooms are for the upper echelons of human intelligence, so I won’t offend your business with my inability to work a thermostat again. Maybe add a third control box to make the challenge harder for the next guest.
