The beautifully preserved historic architecture makes this a distinctive, formal B&B in the middle of Denver. Capitol Hill Mansion is an 1891 ruby sandstone mansion, and it's ideally placed within a short walk of the Colorado State Capitol and the Denver Art Museum. Staying there felt like going back in time, while still having all the modern comforts you'd want.

Carl was gracious, and the breakfast he served was amazing. The egg souffle was just perfect, and the coffee was excellent. We loved the whole experience and would definitely return. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, with a stunning historic building in a beautiful, quiet, walkable neighborhood. We went to a show at the Fillmore and felt safe walking there and back. ❤️

Breakfast in the patio garden was especially amazing and tasted so good. I picked the balcony room with a jetted soaking tub, and it made for the perfect getaway. Carl's hospitality was the best part of the experience.

The rooms were huge and adorable, with beautiful solid wood furniture, and the staff were so kind. When my flight arrived early, I called to ask if I could get into my room early to shower. They bent over backwards to arrange it and were really sweet about the whole thing. I only booked one night to fill a gap in my conference hotel stay, but I wish I'd stayed here the whole time. What a delightful B&B, well worth a stay.

The food and service were amazing, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It's a perfect Denver base for getting anywhere from downtown to Wash Park. We'll definitely stay again.
