Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown

Our stay in Room 1133 was extremely frustrating with small children. At about 3:00 AM on the first night, someone pulled the fire alarm and the whole building had to evacuate. We walked down 11 flights of stairs carrying our three-year-old and six-week-old baby. It was exhausting and scary. Fire trucks were there, but the front desk receptionist said she had no idea what had happened and told us to go back up to our room. There was no clear information or reassurance, and it didn’t seem to be treated urgently. Several maintenance problems added to the trouble. The shower diverter sprayed water everywhere and had very low pressure, and the bathroom door wouldn’t latch or lock, which is a serious concern with kids. Getting to the parking garage by elevator was awkward, too. You had to go down to the lobby and then back up, and more access buttons on other floors would help. We raised these concerns with Shayla and Jayla, but their response was disappointing. We were essentially told they weren’t concerned because it was a busy volleyball weekend. It felt like our problems were being brushed aside. Between the safety issues, poor maintenance, and lack of customer service, I think a partial refund is appropriate.

Jason and Luiz are what made our stay so enjoyable. Jason went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed, and was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about our experience. That kind of service is rare. The Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown was clean and comfortable, with a great location, and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you both for helping make our trip such a good one.

The downtown location worked perfectly for our plans while visiting family in Denver. Jenna, the GM, also gave us some great places to check out. The food and drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the staff provided excellent service. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Downtown was easy to explore on foot from here, with restaurants and attractions close by. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I had a pleasant, dependable stay and hope to come back.
