Residence Inn by Marriott Denver Belleview Station Denver/Apiary Hotel

The location was easily the best part of our anniversary stay. Breakfast was very good too, and it was handy to have a café and convenience store in the hotel. Our room looked just like the online photos, and the staff were fine, though the valet attendant was the only one who really stood out for friendliness. We were on the third floor and expected an ordinary view, but our window faced a parking garage very close to the building. It wasn't a big problem for us, but anyone wanting a scenic view should know what to expect. Parking was another surprise: valet cost $55 per night, and we couldn't find any on-site option besides that. Street parking or parking elsewhere and walking seemed to be the alternatives. Maybe the website mentions this, but it wasn't obvious to us. We used valet each day because it was easiest, which added a sizable unexpected cost to an already expensive trip. The room had several problems despite the hotel having opened only in February. The outlet beneath the TV didn't work, the TV froze every few minutes on cable, and Amazon Prime wouldn't run on the smart TV. The bathroom fan was out, and its only outlet didn't work either. I wanted to get dressed up for our anniversary, so not being able to dry or style my hair in the bathroom was incredibly inconvenient. The stay left us underwhelmed. The hotel wasn't bad, but given the price and how new it was, I expected fewer maintenance issues and clearer information about parking.

The room was clean, and having a kitchenette was really nice. Staff got back to us quickly whenever we needed housekeeping or anything else. There's also self-service laundry, a gym, and a water refill station near the gym. Breakfast was pretty basic. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back.

Colin welcomed us warmly when we arrived to check in after midnight, and that friendliness set the mood for the whole stay. We were here for a birthday staycation, and it turned our night around. The lobby looked beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and everyone on staff was kind and seemed to care. Our room was spotless, roomy, and comfortable. Apiary Hotel Belleview Station feels brand new and has a genuinely luxurious atmosphere. I'd happily come back anytime.

I was in town for a conference across the street at the Sheraton, but chose to stay here instead. It's a short walk away, and this hotel is smaller and quieter. The rooms are spacious and work well for a longer visit since you can cook for yourself. There are nice parks and restaurants a short walk away too. Static electricity was the worst I've experienced, so I used my steel bottle to discharge before touching doors or buttons. The gym has a Peleton bike. All in all, a very nice stay.
