The Art Hotel Denver, Curio Collection by Hilton

The room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel didn’t live up to the great reviews we’d read. It felt tired, with scratched and scuffed surfaces throughout, and our sink was missing its drain plug. FIRE was just okay. The menu didn’t mark allergens, and the staff seemed to have varying levels of awareness about the protocols. The AMEX FHR program was also handled oddly, since tips weren’t included in the property credit. It’s not a bad stay, but the hotel’s reputation seems ahead of the actual condition.

I’d absolutely stay here again. Both rooms I booked were clean and comfortable, and Ernie was kind enough to upgrade them both. The views were really beautiful. At check-in, the staff member helping us was informative and very kind. I’m sorry I’ve forgotten his name, but I believe he was German. We had one small issue: the cold water in one room came out hot. Since we were only there for a night, I didn’t call the front desk. The service and hotel were a 10/10 for me.

Jillian, the bartender, really made this solo trip to Colorado feel welcoming. She was kind, attentive, and had such positive energy that I felt comfortable relaxing there on my own. She left a lasting impression and represents the hotel so well. I also had a small luggage hiccup before leaving, and the staff handled it well and helped sort it out. I had a great stay, and I’d definitely come back. Thanks to everyone, and especially Jillian, for making it memorable.

We stayed five nights, and the art throughout the hotel really suited Denver. There were about 10 or 15 exhibits to look at, and the front desk could give you a book explaining them. The hotel was beautiful, and we had a perfect stay. Check-in was great, and as a diamond member we got a daily credit that we made full use of. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job every day. The gym was huge, the biggest hotel gym I’ve ever seen, with tons of equipment, plenty of towels and water bottles, and music you could turn up or down. They played a good mix of music and had fresh strawberry water on ice for guests each morning. I’d recommend it to anyone in the area. It’s on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for with a Curio property. Thanks, everyone!
