Heritage Place Hotel & Suites

The rooms aren't worth what they charge, and being billed twice for a single night was ridiculous. I've stayed at plenty of hotels, but I've never been treated this rudely, even at 63. The people working there, who I understand are immediate family of the owners, were very rude. Since it's the only hotel in DeQuincy, it seems they can choose who they'll accommodate. I've heard from several people in DeQuincy who say they've been barred from staying there. Who even wants to stay in DeQuincy? I won't come back. If you do choose to stay, bring plenty of money because I think you'll be overcharged. What a joke. It's so DeQuincy.

The owner was really friendly and accommodating when I met her at check-in, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. My room was neat and super clean. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

When my car broke down, I ended up stopping here. The room was clean and the staff were nice. The owner even helped jump-start my car so I could get it to the auto shop for repairs. He set a great example of how we should live. 10 out of 10.

We've stayed here several times, and the location works well. Our rooms have always been clean. On this latest visit, we were there for five nights and checked out yesterday. The shower in room # 212 had terrible water pressure. I mentioned it to the young woman cleaning, and she said she'd pass it on to her manager, but it wasn't fixed during our stay. Breakfast doesn't offer much, though at least there's something available. Contractors were filling their coolers with fruit and snack cakes, which I assume they eat throughout the day, so there wasn't much left for other guests. I know they need to eat too, but maybe an attendant could keep an eye on how much people take, or the food could be restocked more often.
