Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport by IHG

After an incredibly rough travel day, checking in with Melissa made everything feel easy. She turned the whole process around for me. I fly often and mostly stay at Four Seasons hotels, so I have high expectations for hospitality. Melissa is the best hotel employee I’ve ever encountered. She was accommodating and welcoming when I really needed it, with a rare mix of professionalism and an approachable manner that made me feel comfortable and valued. For world-class service, she’s the gold standard.

We had a smooth two-night stay and would consider coming back on our next trip to Chicago. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Free breakfast is offered, which is a nice perk, though our busy schedule meant we didn’t get to try it. The location is especially convenient, about a four-minute drive from the airport and close to gas stations, restaurants, popular establishments, and shopping areas. For the price, it was well worth it.

I’d definitely stay here again. My room was on the top, fifth floor, and I had no noise issues. It was clean, with a king bed, microwave, small fridge, and TV, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough for streaming. The complimentary breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. Parking isn’t free, but you don’t need to reserve ahead. Just arrive, tell them you have a car, and they give you a pass for the dashboard. A great place to stay near the airport.

The rooms are spacious and well kept, and the bed, pillows, and linens were very good. It’s close to the airport, and breakfast is the standard Holiday Inn Express kind. The front desk guy who checked me in wasn’t very friendly and didn’t share any information about the hotel.
