The mineral spring pools were wonderful, and my skin felt softer and better exfoliated afterward. The rooms are very spacious, each with its own patio, and the amenities are top notch. It’s no new Marriott or Hilton, but I’d still choose it over those other places and plan to come back ASAP. The one thing I didn’t like was the shower. In our room the water wouldn’t get warm, let alone hot.

Laurie and Yvonne were so kind, helpful, and responsive, and the whole hotel team was phenomenal. My husband and I spent six nights here over New Year’s and enjoyed our comfortable room, the omelettes and pancakes at the Sunshine Cafe, and chatting with other guests by the pools. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, perfect for a romantic trip. Our first visit to Desert Hot Springs was a great one, and we’re looking forward to coming back.

Mark, the bartender and host, made us feel like family, and Sergio from security was friendly, helpful, and just a good guy. It was our first stay here. We come to the valley twice a year, and from now on this is the only place we’ll stay. Wonderful experience.

The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and smelled fresh. I liked having a balcony where we could sit and look out over the pools. The mineral water felt good and left my skin glowing, and every pool was fantastic. For the price, it’s a clean, affordable place that feels worth it because the mineral pools work wonders.

We used the day pass to relax in the pools for a while after hiking. It was pleasant. We didn’t stay overnight at the hotel.
