It’s a great roadside stop when you need a rest and a refresh. The manager up front is always nice, and the staff dress professionally, look clean, and smile and greet you as you pass. Rooms are clean from the bedrooms to the bathrooms. The brunch and lobby coffee are hot and filling, and there’s a nice market downstairs. The pool and gym are clean and always working.

I booked an 11-night room for myself and a colleague, whose name was also on the reservation as an additional guest. A snowstorm kept me from getting there, but my colleague still arrived and told the hotel what had happened. The front desk made a new reservation for him and charged me a one-night penalty. Since he did show up, this wasn’t a cancellation under the policy. They did it without telling me, which felt very shady. The customer service was unhelpful and clueless, and kept sending us in circles. This is the worst hotel customer service I’ve ever experienced, a disgrace to the Marriott brand. Avoid this place at all costs.

Breakfast was free and much better quality than what I’ve had at most hotels. Everyone was courteous and focused on customer service. In the morning, every employee we passed took the time to greet us, and we really felt welcome. I’ll return on my next trip through the Dallas area.

Check-in was simple, and parking was nice. The room turned out just as good as I’d hoped: very clean, modern, and nice. I paid a great price and was really impressed. At checkout I noticed how lovely the lobby was and how amazing it smelled. Can’t wait to come back.
