Tomorrow we’re heading down again, and I can’t wait. This will be our 7th year, always in the same unit, and it never disappoints. The private beach is beautiful, accessible by key code, and keeps the rowdy crowds away. We got engaged and married here. 790 on the Gulf and The Crab Trap are both a short walk away. The staff are friendly, and whenever we’ve had a maintenance issue, it’s been handled quickly.

We come back to the penthouse each year and love the big balcony and spacious living area, with room for several guests. There are pull out sofas, plenty of cooking supplies, board games, and TVs, and the rooms are stocked with what you need. It’s a short walk through the coded gate to the beach, which has a lovely view and little to no noise. The sand is always clean, with no litter, and maintenance is quick to help. The Crab Trap is just a .03 mile walk away. The Cabana Club is nicer than the Sea Oats Motel, though they’re under the same management. I’ve stayed at Sea Oats, and it was alright, with a pool and a good fit for loud families. Guests here can use that pool if they want.

For a family stay in Destin, this is hands down the best place I’ve tried. The beach is great, and the condos are easy to use. It’s simple to get to, the location is great, and prices are good. There are several great restaurants close by. I almost hate to say how good it is because I’d hate to see the price go up.

My husband and I stayed in unit 105 and loved the incredible Ocean View and beautiful beach. The food and people were great too. We hope to make it back soon 🙏 😊
