The room was clean when we checked in, and the king suite bed was comfortable. The front desk person was friendly. We traveled on Christmas, so I appreciated the signs saying the cleaning staff had the day off. That was fine, and we could get what we needed from the desk. We saw some staff on Friday, but our room wasn’t serviced. On Saturday, our third day and second full day, we went out. When we got back, the room had been attended to, but they’d only taken out the trash and added towels. The floor hadn’t been swept, the bed wasn’t made, and although tissues were restocked, there was no bar soap or wipes. Breakfast was good: bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, spreads, orange juice, and coffee, all free. The ladies at the breakfast bar were nice and kept everything stocked until breakfast ended. The pool area and fitness center were clean. I’d stay again.

We spent two nights here for my kids’ soccer tournament. The front desk clerk was rude and seemed uninformed, and the room smelled like a dog. The pillowcase on the bed was dirty or stained. Breakfast was decent and free, and the location was the best thing about the hotel.

Tina at the front desk was genuinely friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We had a great experience, and the room was excellent.

The rooms were amazing and clean, and the bathroom was better than any hotel bathroom I’ve seen. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were so convenient, and the service was lovely. The hot tub was great, though only half the jets on the left side worked. The pool was good, but I wish it were heated. Since it was October, I understand the cooler temperatures. The location was handy, close to all sorts of shopping, including Destin Commons. I recommend the hotel for everything except breakfast. The selection was seriously lacking, with no meat or eggs, which I think belong in a balanced breakfast. You may want to go to a proper restaurant for a decent breakfast.
