Destin Inn and Suites

Destin Inn and Suites has become our favorite place to stay in Destin. The rooms and grounds are consistently clean and welcoming, and everything we need on our trip is stocked. The staff are always smiling and incredibly helpful. Allen at the front desk made check-in easy. Thanks, Allen!

As promised, here’s my review after the stay. The room was cozy, clean, and spacious enough for what I needed. There’s free parking and a nice swimming pool, though I was alone and mostly rested in my room. Allen was kind and got me the keys and everything else quickly. The owner is a nice person who’s very helpful. Totally recommend, 10/10.

I found this place while eating at the Shrimp Basket on 98. I noticed the quiet looking motel behind it, drove through the parking lot, and decided to spend the last few days of my vacation here. I’m glad I did. It was spring break, but the motel seemed to have low occupancy, which felt like a real treat. I’d booked a big chain hotel for this trip, but its hallway, pool, and parking lot chaos made me ready to lose the money and leave rather than spend another night there. This place is centrally located near activities and restaurants, quiet and clean, with comfortable beds, freshly painted and remodeled rooms, plenty of parking, and a simple, clean room with ample towels. The kiosk made check-in possibly the easiest of my whole vacation. Anna helped me check out. The pool water was crystal clear, and the chaise lounges were comfortable. I also noticed charging stations for electric cars, though I drive a gas vehicle and don’t know more about them. I lounged by the pool and was happy to find such a welcoming place after so many chain hotels. If you want a clean, quiet, unpretentious family place close to attractions, this is it.

Niko was there when we arrived, smiling the whole time. He came across as genuinely kind. Thanks, Niko. The room was clean and great. Couldn’t ask for better.
