Henderson Beach Villa #2

We went to the spa early so we could make use of the steam room, jacuzzi, lavender room, and the other amenities. If you buy a spa package, you're welcome to use them all day. Liz, my massage therapist, was fabulous. I thought nothing could top our first visit, but she changed my mind. It's honestly the best spa I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I have stayed at this resort twice, and both trips were amazing. We had a beach-view room, with a stunning view, and the path to the private beach was easy. That stretch of beach also felt calmer than other parts of Destin. The place smells amazing too. I have no idea what scent they diffuse through the hotel, but I want it for my home, lol. The Henderson costs a bit more than other places in Destin, but I think it's worth it.

The spa massages were amazing, and the service was worth every penny. This is a great spot for a family trip or a getaway with someone special, and I can't wait to book another visit. My one letdown was the resort's restaurants. The food was just mid for the high prices. I'd rather spend more for better-quality food.

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at Henderson Beach Resort this past week. The manager who handles front-line check-ins there, Nicole, was incredibly friendly and professional, and went out of her way to accommodate us. I highly recommend it for a family vacation. We stayed at both this hotel and the Henderson Inn. Either one had the best food, over-the-top hospitality, and accommodations. The Resort has more attractions for families than the Inn, and both are wonderful for couples or families.

Everyone made us feel welcome and well looked after. Anthony at the rooftop restaurant and Daniela on the beach were amazing, and Anna at the spa reception was friendly and helpful. Kathie gave me the best massage I've ever had. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we got great tips on things to do in Destin. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back.
