We were excited after seeing the online photos, but the place looked nothing like them. We expected a unit on the side nearer the ocean and ended up on the opposite side. The bunk beds were disgraceful, and the hose didn't work when we came back from the beach and tried to rinse our feet. Then the upstairs neighbors stomped so loudly that we couldn't sleep, even with my noise-cancelling AirPods in, and their child was screaming too. The floors are so thin that you can hear everything. The vents were filthy and set off allergies. The bed didn't even have a fitted sheet, and the mattress pad was stained and the sheets smelled bad. This was a lot of money wasted. The owner should be ashamed to offer this, and I'll never book with them again.

Cottage 16A was a last-minute choice on an impromptu trip, and my wife fell for it right away. The owner kindly let us check in early. It's easy to walk to lots of things, with the beach right across the street. The cottage was clean and updated, with everything we needed, plus a nice kitchen and pool. We'll stay here again. A hidden gem!

The pool was nice, though it was still too deep for my youngest daughter to swim, with the shallow end at 3 1/2 feet. We stayed in 1A & B, which didn't have a dishwasher. The place felt cozy and beachy, and the bunk beds were great for kids. It's very close to the beach, and the cable and Wi-Fi both worked great. I'd recommend it to my family. The only thing I'd suggest is a deeper dusting, especially on the ceilings and bathroom fans, but it was still a great place!

Our family had a blast, and the owners were attentive and easy to reach whenever needed. This cottage has everything you need for a good vacation. Just remember, in a cabin-style resort, noise and footsteps from people walking around upstairs are normal. If that bothers you, you may prefer renting the upstairs apartment or choosing a quieter, more isolated place. We'll be back.
