The Excel beach team was lovely, though we still miss George, who used to take care of the beach rentals. The security staff and management were attentive, too. One guard was especially kind when my little girl hurt herself by being clumsy, and showed us where the ice machines were and what she would do for that kind of injury. Silver Dunes also made Easter a blast for families, with what looked like thousands of eggs for the kids and an Easter bunny hopping around.

The lawn is lovely for kids to run around and play, and there’s plenty going on in summer, from weekly movies to s’mores with live singing. This beachside condo property felt very family friendly, with professional, helpful staff and good security that helped make our stay relaxing. It’s handy for nearby spots like WAFFLE HOUSE, CHICK FIl A, Merlin’s pizza, subway, smoothie king, Beach liquors, and a short drive to super Walmart. We had a wonderful time and would happily give it 10 thumbs up for groups of families or friends. :)

The private beach access leads to really soft sand, and we even spotted a pod of dolphins about 100 feet offshore. That was magical! We came as a group of six and loved the place. The grounds have a fitness room, a game and vending room, a pool, and a big open field backing onto the dunes and beach. We arrived late, but the security guard was warm and helped us sort out parking.

Our condo had a lovely ocean view and was roomy enough for four adults. The beach was beautiful, with white sand, and only about a two minute walk away. We enjoyed the resort and plan to come back.

We had such a good stay in unit 4 at Silver dunes, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Being just 20 feet from the car to the door meant no elevator hassle. The place was so comfortable that I even considered taking the mattress home!
