I spent a week here, and the complex was really well looked after. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was spotless. Since it was late in the season, we had it to ourselves on both days we went. The beach is gorgeous, with powdery sand and rental umbrellas and chairs for anyone without their own. It’s easy to get there, about a three minute walk across the property, or you can drive. My unit had a deck on each level, and sitting out with a glass of wine was so relaxing. We also fed the many turtles every day with bananas, carrots, skinned grapes, and romaine lettuce.

We’ve fallen for DESTIN, FL after three stays at South bay by the Gulf, and we’re already looking forward to the next trip. Our condo was comfortable, had great WIFI, and was close to the beach, with the pool right outside our back patio door. There’s lots to do, from the beach and Dolphin/Shelling boat trips to Gulf fishing and go carting, and the food makes for a special trip.

Southbay recently redid its tennis and pickleball courts. The townhome units sit just steps from one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, though most aren’t right on the water. It’s much less crowded here than the stretch in front of the tower condos.

For the cost, this is our favorite place. We love it here, and it has what you need, from beach access to pools. The grounds crew is amazing, too. Definitely recommend.

A gorgeous beach and quick, helpful customer service made this a beautiful vacation spot. We’ll definitely make it an annual trip. 🤗🤗
