The beach was outstanding, and we had it to ourselves. Late October was just right, with a cool breeze and hot sun. The house is beautiful and has a grand feel, though it's a little dated. Service was excellent. They were always available and answered all our questions. The pool is very small, and the alarm for its area was beyond annoying. Still, the backyard is adorable and the house is perfect for families. I'd certainly recommend it.
For what it costs, the place feels very dated and doesn't offer much beyond an ocean view and seven rooms. The customer service wasn't very nice either. I gave it two stars because, for a portion of the price, I could've done much more in Destin without the hassle of dealing with the rental company. I'm a native who came back to the Panhandle for vacation.
