I stayed at Villa Playa in February of 2026 and really enjoyed it. The private neighborhood beach is great, and the beach entrance is very close. The kitchen is beautiful and pleasant to spend time in, with lots of dishes and an especially nice range of cocktail and wine glasses, so cooking for a group would be easy. The house was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linens were neatly bagged with plenty of supplies like shampoo and conditioner. I felt very safe in the gated neighborhood, with its guarded entrance. As a single woman, I was comfortable walking around at any hour. WiFi is a bit weak, though I found the second-floor bedroom worked well for video calls without lag. The back bedroom on the third floor wasn’t a good spot for that.
