I stayed at Villa Playa in February of 2026 and really enjoyed it. The private neighborhood beach is great, and the beach entrance is very close. The kitchen is beautiful and pleasant to spend time in, with lots of dishes and an especially nice range of cocktail and wine glasses, so cooking for a group would be easy. The house was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, and the linens were neatly bagged with plenty of supplies like shampoo and conditioner. I felt very safe in the gated neighborhood, with its guarded entrance. As a single woman, I was comfortable walking around at any hour. WiFi is a bit weak, though I found the second-floor bedroom worked well for video calls without lag. The back bedroom on the third floor wasn’t a good spot for that.

I loved how close this house is to a beach entrance and the pool. I’ve stayed in three homes in this community, and this one was my least favorite. The interior is nice, but the downstairs bunk beds aren’t comfortable, and the towels housekeeping left in bags had several long black hairs on them. The WiFi is terrible, almost impossible to get anything done with. I need WiFi on vacation, and I’ve been struggling to get a decent connection all week.

The freezer went out and spoiled all our food, and we had no air conditioning or internet. The property managers were slow to respond, if they responded at all, and the on-site staff were very rude. This “luxury” property isn’t worth what you’ll pay to stay there.
