Inn at the Lake

Jody was flexible about when we had breakfast and clearly cared about making the stay relaxing. We were after somewhere to unwind, and this was just the spot. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful lake view and a huge jetted tub. We also had a nice time checking out the restaurants and antique shops in Newport. We loved our stay.

The lake views were astounding. We watched it melt completely, which felt magical. It was such a peaceful week, and the host made sure we were comfortable and happy while still giving us time alone. Every need was taken care of, even a few I hadn’t thought of. The food was delicious, and I’ll always choose breakfast in bed here. Thanks for an amazing week. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this place again and again to anyone wanting to get away and relax!

Cassie is an amazing, gracious hostess and a wonderful cook. The rooms each have their own style, and they’re adorable and romantic, with relaxing, comfortable bedding and a jacuzzi tub in every one. Some rooms look out over the lake, and the dock is only a short walk away. We absolutely love this place. For a romantic bed and breakfast getaway, it’s the best.

Jody went out of her way to help us when we needed it, since we’re somewhat handicapped. That meant a lot. The rooms are very nice and have all the comforts, and the views are beautiful. Breakfast is made from scratch and feels extra special because Jody puts her heart into each one. The Inn at the Lake was the best bed and breakfast experience we’ve had, period.
