Relax Inn

Vince was extremely helpful and took care of any request my family and I had. The rooms were ready early, and the AC and heater both worked great. It was clean and cozy, and the price was great. There’s a cafe in the same parking lot serving breakfast and dinner. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

The beds were so uncomfortable I could hardly sleep, and I woke up stuffed up after realizing they’d put me in a smoking room without telling me. There were no towels either. We stayed two nights for work. When we arrived at 5:30 pm, it was 96 outside and 110 in the rooms because they leave the AC off, I guess to save money. The second night, they didn’t make the bed, but someone did come into the room and turn the air back up again. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and even though I tried to fix it, no water was running to it. Not a great stay for me, and I won’t be back.

We walked into dead roaches in the room, and the tub and sink were dirty. I felt disgusted the whole time. The owners or workers were horribly rude too. There were three of us, and when we asked for an extra towel, they were rude about it before finally handing it over, saying they expected all the towels back right after our showers. It was way overpriced, and they definitely rip people off. While people were evacuating from a hurricane and taxes weren’t being charged, we heard them say, “Well then I guess we will just raise the prices.” Horrible.

Pete helped me out with my weekly rate, and the rooms were clean with a great price. I had a great experience here and would recommend it to my coworkers when they’re working nearby. The Mexican restaurant next door is fantastic too.
