You could hear everything around the room, even the doors being knocked on and housekeeping carts moving. I first blamed the noise on a school bus full of kids staying overnight, but it was just as bad after they left in the morning. The walls seem to be made of very porous Styrofoam. It's the loudest hotel I've stayed in, and I wouldn't come back because quiet matters a lot to me. If you only sleep from 0100-0500, maybe you'd have a better stay. I booked a king but was given a queen. At first I didn't care, but after such an unpleasant night I started nitpicking. The rooms are dated but a decent size. I did like the googly eyes on the towel and the mints, a nice touch you don't see at many hotels anymore. The heat was set to 78 when we arrived, which was disgusting for us as Montana locals, so we ran the AC all night to keep from melting in our sleep.

On our second stay, October 4th, 2025, the room was extremely hot. Neither the wall unit nor its wall control worked, the beds were horrible, and it was one of our most uncomfortable nights in a long time. We had booked two queens on purpose because someone else was with us. After two bad stays, I would have asked management for a partial or full refund. The room wasn't worth the $200+ I paid. I found there are two other hotels in Dillon and will use one of them next time. I'm a Best Western Rewards member, but wouldn't recommend this hotel. The breakfast was very good, though. We'd stayed once before during trips between Chinook, MT and Eagle Mountain, UT, a route my husband and I take several times a year, though we don't always stay overnight depending on the season and daylight. That first time, I reserved a king. At check-in they said someone else with my name had arrived earlier and they gave that person my room, so I got two queens instead. It wasn't what I'd booked, but I accepted it and paid, while deciding not to stay there again if the staff were that careless. Checking the address and other details against the ID and paperwork might have helped.

The noise was awful, with sounds from the rooms above, below, and beside us carrying right through. The room was grimy, the bed uncomfortable, and the calcified showerhead sprayed everywhere but on me. For what it is, this hotel is extremely expensive. It's the noisiest hotel I've stayed at and the worst Best Western I've tried. It shouldn't carry the name. Edit: I guess if you don't have a record of my stay, you can refund my credit card. What a bullshit reply, lol. Lots of other people are complaining about the same thing. Worse than one star.

The pool and breakfast were great, and the hotel was very clean with excellent customer service. I took off a star because it's noisy. You can hear people walking to their rooms and having conversations. Our room also needs a couple of small fixes, since the toilet ran constantly throughout the stay.

The staff were superb, both in service and in how helpful they were, which makes the rest hard to explain. I wouldn't stay again. The Febreze in the room made me sick and nauseous, and even on the fourth morning it was overwhelming after a three-night stay. It can't be healthy. Whatever they're trying to cover up with chemicals would make me pause. In 25 years of travel and hundreds of nights a year, this was the most miserable stay I've had. It's an enigma.
