The location is really good, and the place is reasonably clean with nice staff. It's not terrible or a roach motel, but it is very dated. There aren't enough easy-to-reach outlets for charging today's devices. Only one side of the bed had a well-placed outlet for a phone. I bring my own coffee maker because the tiny ones hotels provide don't make enough to fill a thimble. The only place I could plug mine in was by the vanity sink. Calling this “luxury” doesn't really fit. And when rates climb in peak season, it's not worth $200 a night.

The fridge kept up a loud hum all night, and the bed had sagged so badly that sleeping on it was tough. The shower floor also creaked with every step, like it might give way. Housekeeping staff in nearby rooms were coughing and sneezing without masks. Check-in was easy, the price was low, and my room was fairly clean with the basics. Pretty much a budget stay.

For the lower price compared with nearby hotels, I didn't have much to complain about, lol. Breakfast is basic but free, and the service was good. The room's old, though clean and roomy enough. It's in a convenient spot just off I-70, with Copper Mountain, A basin, and Keystone nearby, and Winter Park Resort about an hour away.

I feel like Luxury Inn took my money. The online room price was $80, but when I called from the car to book a night, they charged $192.38 for that same room. I got an immediate bank alert and canceled during a four-minute call. They promised the charge would never appear, but the full amount was posted anyway, and I'm still fighting to get it refunded. Between that and the huge jump from $80 to $192.38, I feel robbed. Stay away from this place.
