Super 8 by Wyndham Dillon

A decent room and hotel for the budget price. The bed was comfortable, the bedding clean, and the room generally clean, though it could be cleaner to earn five stars. The shower valve stuck and the door entry lock needed maintenance. Staff were friendly, but I hoped they’d be more accommodating with special requests.

We were very satisfied. The front desk woman was friendly, the room and facilities were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was generous. Excellent value for the money.

The front desk employee was nice, and the shower had hot water, but I didn’t think the hotel was worth the price. It’s dated, with no pool or elevator, and the rooms have no microwave or fridge. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were firm enough, but oddly square, more like decorative cushions. At first the room looked clean, but it seemed to have only been surface cleaned. The toilet had unpleasant brown stains, under the cushions was gross, and the carpets were dirty. The TV was small and the bathroom tiny. Breakfast wasn’t hot, just toast, cereal, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs.

In a market where places are overpriced, this hotel was relatively inexpensive. It was clean, and the staff were friendly, all good things for a property competing here.
